YOUR ANSWER FOR TECHNICAL TRAINING

Course Advice

My recommendation is to start students with Electric 1 and follow with Electric II and III.  This builds a solid foundation of the knowledge of electricity.  Since today’s and tomorrow’s cars are using electricity to control almost everything, this understanding is almost mandatory.  All levels of technicians will benefit from all the classes.

This electrical foundation allows students to get the maximum from the Engine Control System Classes.  Starting with the class on engine control systems I and followed by Engine Control Systems II, III, IV, V, and VI, students are guided through the progression and development of pre-computer through on board Diagnostics II Computer Control Systems.  Students following this format will be the experts of tomorrow.

The five-day or ten-night classes will achieve the best results.  Very few students can completely understand without doing it.  In these classes students get classroom explanation, hands-on experience and discussion of results allowing the student a total understanding.  We offer telephone and in-shop support to help iron out the bugs as they occur.

The short versions while informative and helpful, do not generally accomplish or cover as much.  But TecHelp can target in a one day or one night session, any specific area, in which a student my have trouble. We can also break down any five-day or ten-night classes into special groupings or develop a class for any areas of training that may be desired.

TecHelp is trying to provide a realistic training program to develop skilled technicians that can accurately repair cars.  Currently we feel that most available long-term training leaves the student short of the desired goal.  We do acknowledge that there are many very good short-term classes.  However, we feel these types of classes are only beneficial to very experienced and previously trained technicians.

Sorry, TecHelp does not offer training in the following automotive areas:

Auto Body and Paint

Suspension and Alignment

Engine Mechanical

Transmission Mechanical

Drive Train Mechanical

Upholstery Repair
